Kate McGahan is the Founder of Elderplanning. She
is a certified Social Worker with a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from
Nazareth College and a Master's Degree in Social Work from Syracuse University.
With over 20 years in the health care system primarily as Director of Social
Services and Admissions for quality nursing homes; She has extensive experience
with the psychological and social issues confronting older adults and their
families. She has a thorough understanding of issues faced by families and
individuals challenged by Alzheimer's Disease and related illnesses. Most
importantly, Kate has personally experienced the impact of many of these issues,
making compassion a forefront of all Elderplanning services.
